How to setup the MCR x Vouchers connector

Use the MCR Voucher integration to help identify when an Airship voucher has been redeemed in venue for a source of PoP

Fees

There are setup / ongoing fees from MCR to enable this integration. Please see your MCR account manager for more information.

Getting Started

From Airship, you will need;

  • A SFTP creating to allow MCR to send the daily voucher redemptions

  • A REST API token

From MCR, you will need;

  • The daily file for Voucher redemptions to be enabled, and added to Airships SFTP

  • Any Prefix / Suffix added to the voucher code

  • A list of your venue names and IDs

Generating SFTP details

Get in touch with your customer success contact at Airship who will be able to generate you a SFTP, and we'll securely provide the details to MCR.

Creating an API token

You'll need to create an API "Personal Access Token" for them to be able to pass data into your account securely.

To do this. you can either:

A) invite your contact at MCR as a user to your Airship account and let them do this themselves, or;

B) you can do this on their behalf and pass the token on to them securely.

What data is transferred?

From MCR, we will get;

  • Voucher code

  • Redemption Date / time

  • Redeemed at venue

We will then use the voucher code to lookup a contact, and register a PoP on the redemption date/time at the redeemed at venue.

Additional data

Via a separate feed, we will also get the customers;

  • Current points balance

  • Active vouchers

  • Last interacted date (when they earn't or spent points)

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to Contacts in the main menu and select Folders & Groups.

From here you can see all your contacts, if you select a contact profile you will be able to navigate to a View Offers Issued tab. This will list all vouchers that have been issued, and redeemed against a contact.
