Switching on the Splash Access / Airship connector means that each time a customer connects to your WiFi, the customer and WiFi data will be automatically sent to your Airship database.

How to get started

The Airship connector can be set up at customer or venue level and will push users’ data into Airship once they have authenticated onto your WiFi.

Portal Setup

To get started, log in to your Splash Access portal.

To connect to the Airship API you will need to request the “Login”, “Password” and “Source ID” from Airship Support: success@airship.co.uk.

Data is sent in near real-time to Airship when the customer connects to WiFi.

What data is sent to Airship?

Contact title
Contact gender
Contact first name

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to “Contacts” in the main menu and select “Folders & Groups”.

You’ll be able to select your Wifi Group to see contacts within that Group that have been added via the Splash Access connector. You can now send marketing materials to these contacts and utilise Airships WiFi interaction trigger emails to communicate with these guests whilst they are in your venues.
